"It is too often that we are told what to think, how to act, and what to feel. This is why I don't always necessarily want to tell my viewer about my work, or my pieces. I believe the most thrilling part of art is the freedom of it. The freedom to feel whatever it is the piece makes YOU feel. It may mean something different for you than what it means to me, or to them. That's what makes it so exciting. I wish to leave it untranslated, blank for my viewer. If I have given my viewer the freedom to feel something, and to feel it without limitations, then I feel I have done my job as the artist."
Chloe has always had the constant desire to create, to express herself beyond her words. Growing up, Chloe's creativity was anything but discouraged, allowing her imagination to set sail with crayons, pencils, markers, and eventually paints. Throughout the entirety of her young life she found not only joy, but an escape in her artwork. After graduating high school and being thrown into the "adult life", she decided that there was little point in doing anything other than the things she loves doing the most. This then resulted in her decision to make art not only for her own enjoyment but for a living as well. She has since involved herself in numerous local group exhibitions and showcases, displayed her art publicly in multiple locations, and has successfully completed her first fine art residency at High Hand Art Gallery in Loomis. Chloe plans to continue to be a part of as many shows and public displays as possible, expanding her art to the rest of California. She additionally hopes to one day be published and to go international with her work.
